Faculty

The YESS! faculty includes New York State-certified special educators with master's degrees in special education, and assistant teachers matriculating for master's degrees in special education or related fields.

Consulting Therapists

A consulting speech-language pathologist, a reading therapist and a psychologist hired by YESS! make weekly visits to our school to integrate their disciplines into the curriculum and to work with children in small groups during the school day.

Through our consultants, who work closely with our teachers, YESS! offers an interdisciplinary approach to special education. Our classrooms are language-based, feature sensory-motor integration activities, and emphasize social skills, facilitating mainstreaming.

As are all faculty members and consultants, our psychologist, in particular, is available to consult with parents at any time.

The People Behind YESS!

The YESS! Board of Trustees is a dedicated and competent group of parents and special education professionals. Amongst us are rabbis, attorneys, accountants, special educators, regular educators, school administrators, school social workers, school psychologists, business people, work-at-home moms, and communications professionals. We are working together to create and maintain the finest possible special education yeshiva program. Through our effective fund-raising efforts, which enable us to subsidize every YESS! student's tuition and keep the cost to parents considerably below the actual cost of nearly $24,000 per student, we take pride in continuing to operate YESS! on a responsible basis financially.
