YESS! Yeshiva Education for Special Students

Schedule

The school day begins at 8 a.m. daily with Tefillah. Dismissal is at 3:45 p.m. on Monday through Thursday, and at 1:30 p.m. on Friday.

Boys over Bar Mitzvah may participate in the YCQ daily minyan and breakfast, beginning at 7:30 a.m.

Within these school hours, each child's daily schedule is highly individualized, incorporating his or her unique requirements for special education, mainstream education, and related services.

Lunch, Snacks, Recess

Many YESS! students eat lunch daily with the mainstream classes to which they are assigned. Children in grades 2 and up have the option of bringing a kosher, dairy or pareve lunch from home or of purchasing YCQ's hot lunch plan for the year.

Parents are asked to provide two kosher, nutritionally wholesome, dairy or pareve snacks daily. Candies and other junk foods are not allowed.

Please note that due to allergic conditions among some children, no nut products are allowed in the YCQ building. We depend on your cooperation in enforcing this very important rule!
